Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Netti is a UK take-home pay calculator app, built by SquaredMc LTD. This policy explains what information Netti collects when you use the app or this website, how it's used, and your rights. If you have questions, contact us at hello@squaredmc.com.

2. Information you enter into the calculator

Salary, tax code, pension contribution, student loan plan, and any additional income details (bonus, overtime, commission) you enter are used to run the calculation on your device. This information is stored locally on your device so your inputs are remembered between sessions, and is not transmitted to or stored on Netti's servers — we don't see or have access to the figures you enter. This has been verified directly against the app's tax calculation code, which makes no network calls and stores calculator inputs only in on-device local storage.

3. Purchase information

If you unlock Netti Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and managed via RevenueCat, our subscription and entitlement platform. This includes your purchase receipt, the product you purchased, and an anonymised identifier used to verify your entitlement if you reinstall the app or switch devices. We never see or store your card details — these are handled entirely by Apple.

4. Usage and analytics data

Netti does not currently collect usage analytics. If we introduce anonymised usage analytics in future — for example, to understand which features are used or when the upgrade screen is shown — we'll name the provider here and update this policy before that data collection begins. This will never include the salary or income figures you enter.

5. Device and technical data

Standard technical information, such as crash reports, may be collected via Apple's platform tools to help us find and fix bugs.

6. What we don't collect

Netti doesn't require you to create an account to use its core features, and doesn't currently offer any account-linking feature. We don't access your contacts, photos, location, or any other device data beyond what's listed above.

7. Third parties we work with

• Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchases (StoreKit).
• RevenueCat — purchase and entitlement management.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share the figures you calculate with any third party.

8. Your rights

Because most of what you enter into Netti stays on your device, deleting the app removes that data. For purchase data held by our processor (Apple, via RevenueCat), you can ask us to access or delete your data by contacting hello@squaredmc.com. We'll action your request, or pass it to the relevant processor, in line with UK GDPR.

9. Children's privacy

Netti isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
